Solution
1 mile of Florida coastal highway is lit by ONROADLED’s inductively powered Smartstud LED on-road markers embedded in the roadway to protect endangered sea turtles during their eight-month nesting season on an adjacent beach. Longest and largest use of LEDs on a roadway in the U.S.
Replacement of overhead lighting which did not meet current lighting standards on highway SR A1A, in Boca Raton.
