Solution
The successful reduction of accidents at the site resulted in further installations in Auckland and other regions and a long-term contract over the next years to install crosswalks throughout the region.The installation included On Road LED markers and SmartPed™ (system activation device, activation through pedestrian standing on ‘smart’ yellow tactile tiles). System reporting available on number of activations per day, LED marker state and other system information.
