Background
Cycleway delineation and pacing system
Solution
On-road LED markers are used as delineation on cycleway, but also provides a pacing system to improve cycle time. The system is installed between two intersections. On a green phase the LED markers will start turning on 20km/h. If the cyclist stays behind the green LED markers, they are guaranteed to get a green phase at the next traffic light. The LED markers turn off at the same speed at the end of the green phase.
