Upgrade with the latest security technology.
Solution
The Elbtunnel in Hamburg is currently being upgraded with the latest security technology. ONROADLED used an inductively-powered, intelligent and dynamic on-road lighting system with Smartstud LED on-road markers to increase tunnel safety through traffic delineation and supporting exit and emergency signage. The 3325m Elbtunnel upgrade reached stage 2 of 4 in 2011 with 687 bi-directional intelligent Smartstud LED road marker (red) and 14 intelligent IPH2000i Power supplies. The fourth tube was installed at the end of 2016 consisting for 300 tunnel guidance markers with 4 IPL2500i power supplies.
