Background
The M5 General Holmes Drive is 5km long and leads towrds the Sydney aiport and has high volume traffic especially during rush hour times. Safety and Tidal flow provided by a reliable on-road guidance system is mandatory to control traffic safety successfully.
Solution
3i inovation’s on-road lighting system with LED lighting product, SMARTSTUD were installed in 2003 and proved its reliability for 10 years. in 2013 the system was reinstalled. The inductively powered, LED illuminated SMARTSTUD® road markers from 3i Traffic to deter road users from straying into the centre lane against the tidal flow.
