Background
Dynamic guidance system in Oss, Netherlands on route N329
Solution
Installed in 2012, the system consists of passive and intelligent sections with over 3000 on-road LED markers. Vehicle guidance is achieved via a “green wave” system which operates between 7 intersections. The LED markers turn on in sequence at varying speeds, to ensure following vehicles will get a green phase at the next set of traffic lights.
