Roundabout lighting systems
Solution
LED markers are used to illuminate the edge of roundabouts, especially where little or no overhead lighting is available. In Aldigen, Germany, the local council had issues with truck drivers passing through the roundabout and driving over the centre island. With the introduction of on-road LED markers there have been fewer accidents of trucks driving onto the kerb. First system was installed in November 2013.
